788 Magazine repair
« on: April 20, 2010, 08:08:01 AM »
Does anyone have an idea on where to get the internals on a 308 788 Magazine?  I picked up a shell with no internals and interested in getting it back into action.  Thanks for your ideas!  Zcarp2

And, the caliber is (IIRC, there's different followers for .30-30/.44mag/rimless/etc) ....... ?

With that info in hand, you can call the usual suspects, like Numrich Arms, Bod's Gun Shop, etc.

Have you called Remington's Customer Service Dept ?

I'd think that IF you could get the guts/parts, a replacement $30 mag would be less expensive.
