The pin that the trigger pivits on seems to creep out of my frame.Normaly I just nudge it back in with a screwer butt or something.What can I do to stop this?SGB

Hunt4570,
     I had the same problem.  What my problem is that the trigger pin has a grove in the middle of the pin.  I guess it was put there to stop the pin from working out.  My pin was broken at this grove.  When the pin starts to come out check the other side.  I bet a buck that side is still flush with the frame.  Get a new pin from T/C and you can slide it in behind the broken pin.  No need to dis-assemble anything

     I guess I owe you a buck 4570.   Do you accept credit cards?  All I can say is I think you should get another pin anyway and give it a try.  Maybe you pin does not have the grove in the middle to keep it in place.  Let me know how things work out

I have one contender frame that does the same thing. It is loose enuf that it will fall out when frame is turned sideways with fore end off.

Mine move a little also.  I have just been knocking it back over every now and then for 12 years.  I did have one break one time, it is easy to detect because the gun gets harder to open.

You mean all this time I thought that was a 2-piece pin ... and it's been broken the WHOLE TIME!!  Mine's been backing out BOTH sides for years now, at the same time even.  I just assumed it was 2 pieces.  Guess I need to give T/C a call and get that replaced.

Hunt 4570, the pins on my  frames have  a thin roll pin sleeve that the pin goes through. Are you missing yours? Maybe you could just squeeze the roll pin with a pair of pliers for a tighter grip on the pin. Worth a try.  Pat

Give T/C a call, they just put the parts in the mail for me, the pin and the sleeve.
