Drilling Scope Question

The Sauer 16x16/7x57 drilling I purchased has a 4x scope.  I am thinking about putting on a new 3-9x40.  Is it worth it?

  It depends on how you hunt?  For me, it was a HUGE improvement in low light conditions, and that was VERY important to me.

 

  I intend to hunt with this drilling the rest of my life, so why not have it the way i want it??  AND i still have my old scope to snap on, if i want to...   :)

I am grappling with putting on a Leupold 2-8x32 or a Zeiss 3-9x40.  Oh the decisions....

  I have both scopes, i think the Zeiss is slightly better in low light...  The Leupold is a more compact scope, so it all depends on what is most important to you.

the Leupold will add less weight, which to me is important. Actually I would prefer a older long tube Leupold 3x.  ;)  But thats just me...
