I've been through the list of "Can I use a #1 butt stock on the #3?" From all I've read, most say yes... What about the forend? They are obviously different with regard to the barrel band on my #3 in 45-70. Is this just a little shaping work I'd need to do and then the #1 forend would work too?
Who has a good source for aftermarket #3 stock set? I'd use Virgin Valley or Bullberry but they are so backlogged right now. I've got 3 jobs pending at VVCG's and 1 at bullberry.
