Just put money on it yesterday, found almost NO information on them anywhere - it has a 21" barrel, cylinder bore, nice rifle sights with a scope mount and rings and sling studs. Has some mean dings in the stock, repairable with no problems, but other than that looks about NEW. Gun is solid and all working. Looks like a flat black phosphate finish - I recall similar Stevens guns were used "unofficially" in Vietnam.
Are barrels interchangeable on these models? It has a SN beginning with E, but I don't have the number with me now...it looks like a pretty handy gun for the short range woods where I live, and will be a good GP slug gun for larger animals here in PA.
Any experience with these guns? Thanks...
