turkey barrel
« on: April 27, 2010, 06:12:40 PM »
I had the forcing cone lengthened on a 28 inch Remington Express barrel and put a .660 Hastings extended choke tube in it.  It shoots the 3 inch Federal #4 shells great.  I know a lot of guys like short barrels, but I like the longer sighting plane.

Do you think the longer barrel stabilizes the load better before it exits the barrel and/or improves velocity a little?

1) No.
2) Not in any practically applicable way.
