will the sportster frame except different barrels like the handi rifle,,or is there any difference, i just picked up a nice little 17hmr sportster was shooting 7/8's groops at 100 yards if i do my part,using winchester 17 grain v max

Can a WMR and/or .17 barrel be fitted to a standard .22 (s, l, lr)??

All Sportsters use an SS1 frame, so yes, all rimfire barrels(except a Versa Pack)can be used on a 22Lr Sportster frame.

That brings up more questions but, not wanting to overwork you or hijack fuzznuts thread, I'll see what I can learn on my own and then post on my own thread if I still need to
