you guessed it ,I just got pictures back from the developer today. These unfortunate bobcats tried to get through a funnel that had a coyote snare and a 220 set for racoons in the main trails.  I believe the bigger one was caught in the snare first and the little one traveling with it got spooked and tried to escape on the trail that held the 220.  Bobcat season doesn't open here until Dec. 1 so I had to give them to our conservation officer. Hopefully my friend and I will be able to catch another one once season opens.

Well, it sounds like you are doing just fine. Your first coyote, a double on bobcats, what more can you ask for? A triple on fox? :)

I am going to try to catch a cat this year, but haven't got around to the farm where they are yet.

Happy Trapping,
Zach Ellis

I won't be catching any foxes we don't have any out in the country, but I think there are a few running around the edges of town. Of course I didn't know there were any bobcats either. I have never seen a track or a cat so it was a complete suprise.  A happy accident.

I ll ,go with that.  Upland coons are our next goal to learn how to trap consistently.  with a little more beginners luck I should have some pictures of those to show around christmas vacation time.

we're getting our first real wheather of the winter this week- end and its hard to stay indoors, but thanksgiving break is only three days away.
