just stoped by the local guy that owns a shop that he runs out of his house after work.placed a order for one of the new Talo 357 handies.should be here friday.now i have to get it reamed.ive had the 357 max brass for over a year now.

i probaly paid to much but its money in the local guys pocket an not some chain store that dont care about it customers.

Congrats!! Get on the reamer list(see sticky), it's short, only two ahead of you and number one should get the reamer tomorrow.  ;)

You'll love it. I ordered mine through a friend who has an FFL. He sold it to me for $267.00, tax, shipping, soda money for him included. Did the max ream as well, very easy job.

You're gonna love it :-* :-*  I hate it so much I only have two Max Handis, one 22 inch on a black syn and the other 16.5 inch on a BC carbine stock set.  I just started reloading for them.  I've got brass, the 180 gr. bullets should be here in a day or so, and I'll have H110 tomorrow......life is good. ;D ;D

I had bought 100 rounds, 180 gr. from each ammobank.com (made by Precision Cartridge) and Reeds, giving me 200 rounds to reload.  Ammo Bank is out of stock on them, but Reeds has them on the shelf.

ive decided to break it in with it as a 357 for now.plus i have a friend that his wife has a model 1894 in 357 an he has a around 100+ unfired rounds of 158 an lighter bullets that he said i could have cause they dont group in his wifes rifle.lucky me.plus i have to get set up for reloading now.so im going to just play with it as it is now then ream it later so i will have that new gun feeling again without the new gun price. ::) what powders work for the max,is varget a powder you can use in it.would be nice cause i know varget works for the 30-30,35rem,an 30-06 that i have.

almost forgot that this handi stuff is really addicting because im now thinking i want to find a set of BC stock an forarm an do a scout scope like PawPaw wants to do.

You're ill, puppy.  Don't worry, Dr. Tim'll be along soon with some meds for you ;D :D ;) ;) :D ;D  You'll fire the .357 mag about 3 times.  Then you'll wonder what the Max is like, go to bed, dream about it, get up in the morning, think about it for about a minute and get the order in for the reamer and ammo.  I know, I'm here in the ward waiting for you.

Don't forget, you can still shoot 357 Mags in the maxi chamber!!!  (38's too!)

Get on the list and the reamer will be to you sooner than later. Its VERY easy and you will likely be able to put the reamer back in the mail the same day!!!  Come on, you KNOW you want to!!  ;D

CW youre rigt i want to but i want to play with it as is for right now.this has been a plan of mine for over a year now.a year ago when everyone was getting scared cause nobody had max brass an thought that it might be discontinued, i found some an bought a bag of 100.but anyways i picked it up today.heres some pics.

i took my son out with me today to shoot it an we were having a blast.out of the box it was shooting about 8 inches high at 25 yrds.i did manage to shoot about a 3 inch 5 shot group off hand.we were shooting magtech 158 jhp.
