By the way! 39 criminals from the Republican side voted yea, and swung the vote. 223 to 169

The Democrat-controlled Congress and the White House are pulling out all the stops to offset the oncoming tidal wave that is threatening to throw them out of power this November.

With their polls sagging badly, the liberal Democrats rammed through a Puerto Rican statehood resolution yesterday which many consider the first step towards making Puerto Rico the 51st state -- a move that would give liberal progressives in the Congress six more Representatives and two new Senators.

Making Puerto Rico a state would bring another gun control bastion into our nation and bring almost ten anti-gun congressmen and senators into the Congress.

This is disgraceful!  With her party's polls plummeting, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi is trying to get as many additional progressives into Congress as possible so that she can continue advancing her liberal, anti-American agenda.

Regarding the statehood resolution, Rep. Jason Chaffetz (R-UT) says it "is the Puerto Rico statehood bill which is being pushed by the new progressive party in Puerto Rico trying to create a federally [sanctioned] vote that they say is nonbinding but would give them the legitimacy to then come back and try to seat people in the United States Congress."

So much happening, and happening fast.   Looks like we've been sold off by our own countrymen.  Our businesses, mortgages, utilities, minerals, coal, and it's going to get worse.

You guys are just paranoid and worried about nothing. Next election the Republicans are gonna take over again, and their gonna straighten this whole mess out just like they always do. Not to worry.

Gee I can't wait for the republicans to get in, they will make sure Puerto Rico is a state much slower than the progressives would.

I like slow better.   ;D

I wish gun control was all that this is about. It's about total control of the USA, fundamental transformation. It would be a whole new state full of progressive voters against the constitution and tradtional conservative America. I heard that the majority of Puerto Rico's people don't even want to become a state. They voted against it at least twice.

 That is what the article points to. PR, if a state would no doubt vote Democrat., so why would 39 Reps be in favor of it? ::)

I would look real hard at Puerto Rico's tax debt if any. How many more tax payers would that make if they were annexed? Besides. Puerto Ricans don't know whats best for them. Democrats and Republicans do.
