Looking for scout scope mount for Ishy 2A1 in .308 -

I have a very good Ishy 2A1 with a great bore and trigger and I  would like a scout type scope mount for it - just can't seem to find one. Anybody know who makes one if anyone does?

If you intend to not permanantly alter the rifle then Stan is correct about S&K. The other option is the "Clifton" mount by XS sight systems. That one requires the removal of the rear sight assembly and you epoxy it to the barrel...so it will definitely be value-altering to a collector, but will put the scope very low to the bore center-line.

Both of the answers are "spot on" here is a picture of my M1916 Spanish Mauser   7.62x51  It has the XS scope base(Clifton) I have put them on four rifles and flat love it ,  But as reported it will "ruin" the colector value os your Ishy.   hth    Doug
