Have some .375 dia. cast bullets sized to .3672 @ 250grs.  anyone got any loads?  will start with Unique, Herco and 4198.  Hope to get accuracy at 1500-1600 fps.  Help, Bill439

From Loaddata.com

Notes: Test rifle was a Husqvarna Model 146 with 24 3/4-inch barrel. Loads developed in Norma 9.3x57 brass, using CCI-200, Remington 9 1/2 and RWS-LR primers. All loads should be reduced by 10 percent and worked up carefully. (Handloader Issue #125)

I forgot to add; Reduce these loads 15-20% and they should work well for you with cast bullets.

Thanks for the reply Rev.  I am very happy with the info you were kind enough to send.  I was hoping someone had some lead bullet loads they had already tried, giving me a one up.   The bullet I am using is a plain base 250gr. bullet and I am hoping to keep the speed to around 1500-1600 fps.  to make sure the bullet will not start leading.  Wish me luck and thanks again, Bill439

Go to the Cast Boolet web site and search for 9.3x57 loads.  There are several listings of good loads.

Rev. recoil, I see where you have used paper patch bullets in your 9.3 x 74 with great results.  I think I may give them a try as well.  I think this 9.3 x 57 should be ideal in the swamps of Louisiana.  Thanks again, Bill439
