hogs in the west?
« on: February 13, 2003, 07:18:29 AM »
I know that over towards the eastern side of the U.S. that there are a lot of places to go hunt hogs.  I know that there are hunts in california and texas, but I live in Oregon.  Does anyone know of a place or places to hunt them a little closer to northeast oregon?  Washington? Idaho? Northern Cali?

cjbi,

All over Northern California.  Give me an idea of how far you want to travel and I'll get back to you with some areas to hunt.  Also the California Department of Fish & Game has a manual on pig hunting here that's worth a look.  You can download it free from their web site.  Lawdog

I wouldn't mind going as far as mid-california, idaho, and washington. maybe even utah.  The thing is I have limited time to go anywhere as I have a family and I go to college full time.
