Good price for this Citori
« on: September 24, 2011, 07:08:31 PM »
I have always wanted a nice O/U.  I may have found one that I can afford.  A shop about 90 miles from here has a Citori Field Grade in 12 guage for $850.  That is all the information they have in their ad.  I've emailed to get more information about it.
I know what the new guns cost, but don't know how to price the used ones.  $850 seems like a good deal for any nice condition Citiroi.   Am I wrong?
Thanks for any input.

That's a good price in today's market.

great gun. I paid precisely that for a ASIB 425 with 30" barrels. I have never hit more birds. They are well-made, and durable. Yes, It is a good price for a great gun.

Hey Mark,
Have you checked out Gunbroker to see what the Citori's are selling for?  I found there are some good deals on gunbroker if you can do a face to face transaction, if not them shipping is at least $25, your ffl is at least $25 plus the credit card fee (if you pay with a credit card).  Plus with a remote transaction you really dont get to inspect the gun prior to purchase.

thanks
