In-Laws live about half way between Mt. Pleasant and Paris; that part of the country is plumb full of feral hogs.  If you know someone with land to hunt you're set, have fun.

I worked in that area for a while around 2001. From what I remember, they had quite a few hogs and there are several creek crossings on the highway between Mt Pleasant and Paris, that should provide some good hunting.

My aunt used to own the "Rojak" cattle ranch in Mt. Vernon, near Mt. Pleasant. Great area for hogs, rabbits, and squirrels. And deer are making a comeback.
