Whats wrong with my amp....?

Hey guys i got this amp head for a great price sounds awsome but after about 15 mins of playing its starts to lose volume it goes low and back out fading in and out .......what could be the problem ?

What type of amp is it? Does it have tubes or is it solid state?

very likely that as the circuit board heats up, there is a cracked solder joint that expands and opens up.

I'm not an amp tech so could be wrong, however it that is the problem it will be hard to find and fix.

Handi270's suggestion is a possibility, you would need to remove the circuit board and check the solder joints under a magnifying glass.

Have you done a visual inspection of the board to see if there is anything that looks burnt? Keep safety in mind if you do decide to check it visually and make sure the amp is unplugged.
