Ruger used to have a diagram, with the dimensions of every scope ring, on their website - but I can no longer locate it, since Ruger changed/updated the site.

Ruger says the 3B will clear a scope with a 32mm obj lens on their #1 & M77 rifles, (4B=42mm/5B=50mm)

I have found this simple measurement to be a source of confusion, as I have used the "listed" measurements, to order rings only to find actual measurements aren't what was listed. Not only with Ruger but other mfg's. also. With that said, I just took delivery of a ruger No.1-S. they came with HIGH rings,(#5) and ruger sees fit to mark them as being 1.062". Where they get this dimension is beyond me.  ??? It does not coincide with anything, "anything". Also interesting to note is the No1-H I bought years ago came with low rings. Those are the ones that adourn the  No.1-S. High rings, REALLY, come on Ruger!
O.K. done with the rant, Here are some dimensions for you baer19d. I got these out of the Brownells catalog and they are what I actually have measured on the rings I have.
All measurments are from top of base to bottom of scope tube.
Low-.325"  Med.-.435"  High-.565"  Xtra High-.680"
