Scout4 - What poundage are you shooting those cedar, 23/64" 30" in. Both of my bows are 45# bows, BUT I am thinking of buying a new traditional bow but I haven't made up my mind as to a nice bow like a Thunderstick
http://www.thunderstickbows.com in possibly 50# or a 55# longbow with a shelf, or another recurve of the same poundage.
What I am looking for is a reflex deflex that does not stack if you know what I mean and has pretty much no hand shock. The production recurves that are by the major companies seem to draw harder than some that are made of higher poundage but feel like a lower poundage bow.
The BowTech Guardian that I was buying is pretty much fading, as the guy I was buying from is paying off his new bow and wants the money a lot quicker than first agreed upon. So this is freeing up my dicission making on my next bow purchase. After spending more time with the Bear Kodiak, I have pretty much decided on a traditional bow purchase as my next bow. I really do not need a new modern compound bow.

I think I mentioned in a prior post that the Bear Kodiak belongs to our Montana Fish Wildlife and Parks Bowhunters Education program. And unless they said I can own the Bear Kodiak, I will have to return it. So my decission making will either be a new longbow with a shelf, or a new recurve, or to find a good quality that is on the classifieds at
