hunting in Florida next month
« on: June 29, 2010, 06:30:22 PM »
Off to Florida in July for a couple of days. Haven't decided what to hunt-Axis deer,Rams,or maybe a blackbuck.Guess I'll decide when I'm out there. Two large properties 2000 acres and about 3000 acres. I can't wait should be fun to get out for a few days. ;D Which animal would you guys shoot if you had to pick one?

I'll be hunting with Danny Santangelo again at either the Brady Ranch or the new property that he has. I guess the Brady Ranch got sold as is going to be turned into a lake! I'll post how the hunt goes but the last hunt with Danny was great so I have high hopes for this one.

Yeah,I guess it's been in the works for a while. He's actually moving a bunch of animals to the new place already. Probably your last chance if you ever want to hunt there.

Ron while in Florida, hunt some Iguana!   Actually they have problems with them down south someplace.  My vote is Axis, because they are tasty.  Enjoy, and post some pics when you get back..

My personal order for preference would be Axis, Blackbuck, and Fallow. It's good to go with an open mind and take the best of what presents itself.  :)

Actually I heard about the iguanas but don't know anyplace to go to hunt em. I'll be in miami for a few days before I go hunting so if anyone down there wants some iguanas shot let me know. I'll probably try for an axis deer-he's got some really nice ones.
