17 Mach II...got one in 23" bull blue just now.

anyone having fun with one? I like this 'rifle' length barrel. 21" is the longest I've had before.

It'll be a shooter if its as good as mine. Mine is no encore/contender but a 10/22 conversion, I love to shoot it at 100 yards and make head shots on squirrels and other small game.

I have a 23 m2 Contender just sighted it in gives me idea it is going to be a shooter.

 I pushed a tight patch thru the bore, and then a .177" cal air rifle pellet. The bore might have some 'issues'! There is an area mid bore that gives an odd 'feel', and then the pellet had resistance right at the crown where it 'stuck' a tad.
I'll SHOOT the barrel before rendering judgment! I'm tempted to crown it in the lathe but I'm going to leave it alone until I can scope it and get a box or so of ammo through it.
Neat barrel, this 23" full contour! I've got a suppressor ready for it IF it shoots ok. No threading until the accuracy tests are done.
