Need trigger help
« on: November 22, 2003, 08:18:03 AM »
Afternoon gents, I'm getting ready to glass bed a Winchester 70 rifle and need some advise.  Should I remove the trigger assemble before glass bedding?  or just use a lot of modeling clay and tape to cover the trigger system.  If it is better to remove the trigger assembly, how hard is it?  Any tips on disassembly and reinstalling  :?   I have glass bedded rugers and remingtons but always have just left the trigger on.  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks Old Moss   :D
Best regards, be safe, and keep your powder dry!
Thanks Old Moss

I'd leave the trigger assembly on too. Just wrap it in masking tape so you don't get pucky in the works and it should be fine.
