longer forarm on shoter barrel for encore

will a 24"-26" forarm fit on a 15'' barrel?
all so i was going to order a 16 inch med heavy barrel for my encore when i order it should i tell them i want it to fit the 24 inch forarm
i am going to be useing this as a carbine

there are two hole spacing paterns for TCs, one for the pistols and one fore the rifles. The rear hole will match up OK but the front hole will have to be re-drilled to use the longer forarm on a pistol. No big deal. There is a third forarm I think for the shorter 10" contender barrels that only have one hole.  Hope this helps.   N
