I can't find brass for .338. Does this mean that i just run .308 brass through the .338 die?

thats exacxtly what I did when I bought my .338 federal a couple of years ago. I caled and talked to a guy at Federal and asked about brass. He told me that they didn't have any plans at the time to release brass to the public. thats been a few years ago.

That’s the main reason I went with then 338-06 A-Square because I can use 30-06 Springfield brass.

I also use 308 Winchester brass for hand loading my 7mm-08 Remington.

338 Federal will live forever, since it’s based off of the 308 Winchester.

I just picked up a Tikka T3 Lite in this round, been really wanting one since it came out. About your post, I've been searching a lot on this recently and Federal is coming out with brass in July or August, Midway has listed up as "Coming Soon". Price seems fair at 23.99 for a bag of 50.
