Hi,

I bagged the purchase of the an A7 and switched to a Finnlite.  It has the sako rail on the reciever, so, what mounts and rings work for you guys??

I used Warne on both my short and long action 75 finnlite.  I tried the Sako mounts and rings but found to be heavy and no better than the Warne.

I also wanted an A7 in 30-06, and ended with a 85 stainless in .338 Fed with exceptional "bottom".
I chose Talley bases and low rings (for 40 mm scope). The quality leaves nothing to be desired. I also have Warne rings and bases on other rifles, and they are equally excellent.

I read somewhere about the Warne rings splitting due to the nature of the Sako tapered intregal base. I like the Sako rings as I believe the plastic insert will help secure/protect my Swarvoski.

Thank Sgtt....I've not heard that about warne.  A swaro is a great scope....I'm going to use my Leupi Vari-x III in 3.5x10x40.  It's gloss, but, I own it!

Used warne on both my 7mm-08 and 270 Finnlite and not one problem.
