Will work on pics, I do better with guns than cameras.
520 grain postels on top of about 28 grains of H4198 for the carbine. I shoot the same bullets with up to 36 grains of H4198 out of my 18.5" 45/70 with a pad so this load should be light enough.
I guess I left out a couple of details, I had to fit the 22" barrel to BC frame, but it was already shimmed so no big deal, remove the shim and about .003 from the pivot and I am golden.
The 32" barrel needed a .004" shim and even I am not dumb enough to glue a shim to a BC barrel. I made a long bent shim that stays on the pivot pin of the receiver so the barrel isn't modified. I will be taking my feeling gage to the range and checking clearance before each shot until I am sure this idea works.
