bilmac, come next election, not that much is going to change. The "lessor of two evils" may make a "sorta" come back, and everyone will be so excited about the change, and the "more evils" will lay off an election or two, and then the "lessor of two evils" will not change anything, and the "more evils" will once again, get their turn.
Of course you will also have to take into consideration these two "perpetual wars" that we have been "fighting not to win" for a little over 20 years now. Isn't it odd that the pro-war crowd has never addressed the fact, that we are fighting the Iraq war to PROTECT Kuwait, and Saudi Arabia, and we have footed the bill, and they have became even more fabulously wealthy, while they continue to not contribute. The Afghan war should have never been more than a series of high tech bombing runs, but we are now entrenched JUST AS THE RUSSIANS WERE, in a war that will not end until WE pull out.
We truly are on "the eve of destruction" with no lessons learned to show for it.
