What size for a 327
« on: May 23, 2010, 11:51:49 AM »
I'm going to be casting for a 327 and see moulds in .311 to .314. Which do I use and size to?

Gonna depend on what your barrel and cylinder measure. I would start with .314, you can always size down, but getting more size is a bit tougher. I don't have a 327, but with my 32's I have had much better success at around .313. Billy

ive allways done 32 mag and 32 special to 312 and the 327 should be no different. theres not a big need to size overized for the 32s For the most parts the guns are build right and dont need overly large bullets.

Quickest way to know for sure is to slug your barrel.
