Trying to figure out who made this scope
« on: May 26, 2010, 07:58:39 PM »
I have an old rifle scope that Im having trouble identifying the manufacturer of. I guess its not that big of a deal, and the difficulty probably means it was some no name company anyway, but I thought Id see if anyone here recognizes it. Its a 3x9x40 and has a logo that looks like a shield. The shield is shaped sort of like a salvation army sheild and split down the diagonal with a lightning bolt with the letter U in the upper half and D in the lower.

Universal Firearms Corp markedted scopes but no shield logo, one was even called a a U-D but it was a 4X fixed. Lyman used a shield logo just like the Salvation Army but didn't put it on their scopes to my knowledge.

It could be any number of aftermarket scopes made by name brand companies but with small-fry names.
