Recently the handspring broke on my Uberti '51 Navy and the replacement I bought from Dixie is considerably different from the origonal. Any suggestions on fitting the new hand?
This is the second Handspring I am doing though the other one (for a Piettia '51) was narrower and fitted right up. This handspring is dimensionally thicker than the Uberti origonal.
I think that the top chisel point is the most important dimension since it controls the timing however the thickness of the replacement part dosen't appear to affect fitting into the revolver.
Any help would be appreciated!
