Ruger SR 40

I know there is no such animal at present, But I read a review on the SR9 shortly after it came out, and the gun writer that reviewed it, felt Ruger would be coming out with an SR in 40S&W, I have not seen or heard any more about it. Has anyone heard anything about this.  In a way I kind of hope they don’t, that one would be a little too tempting.

They are going full bore trying to get caught up with all the neat stuff that they have launched in the last year or so.
