Encore ProHunter Frame --- Hammer Cocking

Hi,

I just purchased a factory new ProHunter frame.....The hammer is extremely hard to cock...Is this something that will improve with use, or should I contact TC for a remedy? Thanks for any advice.

Provided you have a barrel of the proper dimensions mounted on the frame, the ProHunter hammer should be no harder to cock than other Encore hammers.  If it's hard to cock, I would return it to T/C for a fix.  You can't cock an Encore hammer without a barrel mounted on the frame.
