Cant spent all my money on the new rifle and a LNL auto progressive, just kidding, I load all my Rifle on a single stage press, I load 223, 22-250, 270, 3030, 308, and 3006, at $30.00 a pop for shell plates verses $5.00 for shell holders that could cut into the component budget fast. Plus I just like the feel of a single stage on the rifle work.

Well the LNL  I mentioned is what I load the High volume pistol on, By that I mean I load 380, 9MM, 38/357,40 S&W, and 45ACP, I only load the 9,40, and 45 on the LNL, with all the reloading and casting, there are days I think I work harder now than I did before I Retired, but it sure  beats the heck out of Welding 8 hours a day.

In that case (as Gilda Radner used to say to Jane Curtin on SNL)...NEVER MIND.  You ALREADY own multiple revolvers and semi-autos.   I thought you were a RIFLE-ONLY reloader and your mention of the LNL was in passing.  My bad for thinking otherwise.  Keep those bullet loaders churning and have FUN shooting it ALL.

I ordered some of those Lymans last night for 280 remington.  I like the orange box. I really like the older Lyman dies.
Out of all the dies I own a Lyman was one I had to send back with a nice letter (after extensively determining YES we have a problem with this die) explaining the problem and they fixed it no problems.

I told Midsouth they need to carry some replacement levers for the Lee autoprime.

I like Midsouth because they show how much stuff they have in stock.

not trying to spam the place up here but wow I thought that was a killer deal and they are out there if you look around.  Alot of people just don't want to buy mass quantities of bullets.  I won't be buying any bullets anytime soon.  I'll get a .243 soon to use up those 6 mm bullets, I don't want to shoot up my death laser 788 in 6mm.

I switched over to Mid-south a few years back, I was a Mid-way customer, as well as some of the others, it just seemed to me on an over all order the prices were cheaper, and customer service has always been first rate, as to dies, I have orange green and even the Hornady red, I do buy mainly Lyman, the only problem I ever had with them was with a set of 40S&W, and that was not the Die, Glocked brass, that problem was fixed with a Redding G-RX Die, I know a lot of guys like the Lee dies, I have used them in the past, there is just something about them I don’t like.

I have been reloading for over 30 years. I have used and or now own most of the makes of dies. Out of all of them I can not honestly tell that any one of them is better than the other. They all will load very accurate ammo if you do your part. I have quite a few Lee sets and they are just as good as any other maker in my book. They are much less expensive also especially when you take into account that you get the shell holder with them.

yep.  I have a bunch of Lee dies and wish I had gotten the ones in the box instead of the round containers. easier to store.

I thought I would spend some money and buy some Redding, the green box/loading tray looked cool but they had some bad reviews. I still want to get some and try them.

Don’t get me wrong, I was not knocking the Lee dies, I started reloading in 1972, so I too have been at it a while, its just like cars, some like ford others like Chevy. I started out with steel, and just like the feel of them.
