shocks for 96 gmc jimmy 4x4

Have a 96 gmc jimmy 4x4 with 200,000 miles, need to replace the shocks would like something that provides a smooth ride, any suggestions.

I don't know much about it but be careful. If you have heavy duty springs and try to soften it up with soft shocks you can increase the roll over  potential. If an expert doesn't answer here try a 4X4 board or a 4X4 magazine. eddiegjr

Bilstein or KYB.  I can't fault the Bilsteins on my 91 GMC Sonoma 4X4 on or off road.
