A little backyard bison hunt
« on: August 01, 2010, 07:49:52 AM »
Every week on another "Traditional" forum board we have a fun shoot called First Shot Friday (FSF) for short followed by the date.  The bison shot was mine, just having fun.  But the bottom pictures discribe this past weeks FSF

Now remember, I said it was a little bison.  I used one cedar arrow, tipped with a 125 gr Zwickey Eskimo broadhead from 20 yards with my new Samick Spikeman 50# recurve.

Here is more shooting fun:

Take a foam plate and cut a 1" hole in the center.  Place at a minimum of 12" off the target face supported by 3 arrows as you see in the picture.  You get 1 arrow of your choice wood, aluminum or carbon off of traditional recurve or longbow only.

Pace off to 20 yards standing.
