 Does anyone make an old style .300 savage bbl for an older contender??? Or what would be a good bbl to convert??? Thanks Gary

Fred at bullberry wont anymore.  Haven't asked MGM but I doubt it.  SSK is probably your best bet

I had SSK convert a 10" .300 Whisper into a .300 Savage for me several years ago. I'd highly recommend using a 14" not a 10" as it got darn little more velocity as a .300 Savage than it did a Whisper. That had to be the worse muzzle blast I've ever had from a Contender.

     The same guy (SSK) could turn it into a 309JDJ......think about it!  Not that there is anything wrong with a 300Sav...but it just ain't a 309. ;D
