Does a CVA Muzzleloader have to ship through a FFL?

Depends on who is shipping and where it's going, there are a few states that require any muzzleloader to be shipped to an FFL from a dealer, but not from and individual, then there are states that have restrictions on who can receive a muzzleloader, it's best that both parties know what the rules are on the receiving end, for example, take a look at the note in the yellow box on all of Cabela's muzzleloaders, my state of WA is one of those states that requires a dealer to ship a ML to my dealer.

I think the correct answer woud be "it depends on what model of CVA".  An Apex can be configured as a CF rifle, so a FFL is required even if it has a ML barrel on it, they may have other models as well, I am not a CVA expert.  H&R has some Huntsman rifles that require a ffl and some that do not.  Make sure you know what you are shipping.  Larry
