INFO on Marlin model 980-DL .22 Mag

I just bought a Marlin 980-DL .22 MAg. It is very good condition.

I have a couple questions about it:

When did they not put serial #'s on them?

When were they in production?

Also Micro groove barrel?

Can I get an extra Magazine for it?

IIRC not until 1968

From what I can find, 1966 - '71

Standard for most Marlin rimfires
