I have just recently came into posession of a 95' marlin 336cs in 35rem. Got it in a trade from another member and I can't wait to try it out. This gun has been fully Teflon coated and a synthetic stock and forearm installed. This gun will be my truck gun. I've never evan shot a 35. No time like the present.

That looks pretty darn good! 8)  I like the contrast of the blued screws, ect. and the gray teflon.  Congrats on your new Marlin! ;)  DP

What fun will that be for a truck guh?  It won't get all beat up and rusty.  It won't need any Bubba gunsmithing, and will totally lack that truck gun patina.

Let me tell you about the 35, if you shoot something with it --- you better want it dead!

That is a fine deer and hog cartridge.

Thanks. I know 45/70 and 30/30 but not too familiar with the 35.

Get ready to grin when you start shooting it.  The 35 is a very well mannered round that does it's job with out a lot of fuss.  DP
