We had a gun show about 40 mi. away this weekend in Columbus, and my wife had to go there to set up her school room for the new year beginning (today), so naturally, I went to the show.
Had several tables of black guns, but pleasantly, there were a few with guns that interested me. Mil surp bolts, collectable levers, and even an original Sharps. One guy had about 10 or more Partners, used, but thought too much of them.
I'm accustomed to paying well under a C note for used, and this fella' wanted more.
Had one 30-06, but I just sold one of those.
Found the missus' a Charter undercover, and bought me a bottle of super dooper water proofer "just like the military uses". I actually think it works.
I tried to sell my Remington model 12 22 pump, with would probably go 90% or better for $400.00. One dealer wanted it bad, but finally confessed he didn't have the cash until he sold something. Guess the economy affects all.
Just not a Handi day. Was hoping for another 357 for the grandson...
