would this work for our brothers on the gulf coast?
« on: June 18, 2010, 06:40:09 PM »
obviously everybody who's living is tied to the sea, fishing ,guideing, shrimping, oysters, etc. will lose their lives as they know it because of the oil spill.what if the present adminasstration said that any company moving to that area had a 10 year grace period on corprate income taxes, capitol gain taxes and their employees had a reduction in income tax?that would allow the company to give higher wages, the employee to pay less taxes and stimulate the local economy more. anybody have thoughts on this? seems pretty simple to me.

Simple, and or, common sense can't seem to cross the beltway in D.C.

yur right BUGEYE, i have no idea what i was thinking.sounds like something reagan would do.it just pains me cuz it would be so easy to get industry to move to those areas. i know the states themselves couldnt take the tax hit all alone, the feds would have to help out some.it would pay off in the long run but i guess thats not what we are interested in today.

Sounds like a viable common sense approach, it don't have a snowballs chance in hell with the DC crowd.

Just got back from the beach.  Not a drop of oil in sight and tons of people playing in the surf.
