I have an old P94 [40cal].

It is ok, built like a a brick outhouse, simple and rugged, but a bit of a clunker;
fine for a house gun or a truck gun.
I keep mine on the shelf under the computer.
For concealed carry, there are better choices.
Today, it would be a matter of price.

What do you want to use it for ?
What is your experience with handguns ?
What do you have now ?

The P9x series Rugers were rugged, simple, dependable, and a bit clunky.
They are great for a "Sam Brown" duty belt carry, a house gun, or a truck gun.

Some were extremely accurate.

Ruger sells some nice fiber optic sights , at good prices [$35], for most all P series.

Currently, the P95 is a real bargain and is, ... by P9x standards, ... positively svelte.
The P345 is very impressive for a compact 45acp.

Almost all of the P9x series had an excellent ambidextrous mag release; they were stiff when new, but smoothed up nicely.

All P9x series need to be shot and used a lot to "break them in" and smooth them up.
