I have 6 guns chambered in 223,5.56, & 1 223 'wylde' chamber. The wylde is a 'Cary Custom' 22" AR with a Shilen barrel. Many of my loads can potentially get fired in several different firearms. While setting up for a trip to SD dogging last June I got my Cary AR ready. I had some problems when I got a reloaded case stuck in the chamber. This was one of my reloads that worked fine in my other guns. I often even use small based dies for reliability in different guns. After this event I realized I could not risk being in dogtown with a stuck round in the chamber. I ordered up 500 nickle plated 223 cases to be used only with my 223 wylde chambered AR. this allows easy ID of the loads & empties to be used with this gun. Your situation may be different but for me this is how I handled it. There may be other chamber particulars or even my reloading practices that lead to my problem. Of course with any semi-auto case sizing is critical to avoid a stuck case.
My load was TAC & Exterminator with a 50 grn Blitzking. The Son liked the custom AR so much in dogtown I hardly got to shoot it out there.
Your RR may have different particulars with the chamber. I've read there can be up to about 100 different 223/5.56/wylde type chambers, many differences very minor.
I'd like to add that my tight chamber has more to do with the custom cut than the differences in the leade with the wylde chambering.
