Recently got a new 10'' 357 Max ( thanks Leon ) So I needed to update my list.   
this one makes number six so one needed to be bumped.

#2   10'' 357 Max
#3   super 14 223
#4   10'' 22 LR
#5   10'' 44 mag

I have only tested the new barrel once with some mild loads to sight in the scope so next time out it just might make it to number one.

I see too that the 10" 44 mag moved up one position to knock off the 45/70!

My 357 Herrett has a bit more oomph than your Max, but the Max would be much easier to reload for.  I may have to give one a try some day.

I did feel bad taking the 45/70 off the list but since I discovered trail boss the 44 mag is fun again.

There have been quite a few discussions here on GB concerning trail boss and I've been reading them with interest.  My 44 mag scoped 10" bull is tolerable with full house loads of H110 but the tapered octagon with open sights is just brutal.  Reduced loads with trail boss is starting to sound like just the ticket for bringing the fun back to that barrel!
