Failure out of the box ................UPDATE!

Hi-Point re-barrelled my frame and lapped the slide. Solved the problem. Took them aprox. 4 weeks.

everyone bad mouths hi point.  I have two a 45 and a 40 smith  . There warranty is great  I called about a question and the guy sent me some replacement parts he said will have be replaced as there wear after 5000rounds . I did not ask for them so i and for now sold on hi-points  nether of mine jam even afte ra 500rd session  praise god
