X-bolt Rifle
« on: September 18, 2011, 04:29:05 AM »
I just picked up my new X-bolt Stainless Stalker, and once I finished drooling over it & read the manual, I have a question for any of you Browning guru's out there: How do you disassemble the bolt for cleaning? The manual says nothing about it; Browning doesn't list an e-mail address so can't ask them; so this forum seems to be the best bet.    :)

The most I have done on my A-Bolts is spray the bolt with some gunscrubber spray. There is a way to take it apart though since I had one engraved, the jeweler took it apart & I brought it to a gunsmith to get put back together CORRECTLY.

For normal use & cleaning I'd shy away from taking the bolt apart, maybe some gunscrubber or the like at the most.
