One of the guys on my annual deer hunt had a Marlin lever action Cowboy Special in .41 Magnum with an octagonal barrel. He said it was a special limited edition that he bought for $550.00. Had a very smooth action and was gorgeous. He used it to nail a maurauding white tail that was eating a farmer's crops and he said it (the deer not the farmer) "dropped like a stone" when hit with the .41 Magnum load.
I'm not really into this kind of rig, but I knew the rabid .41 magnum lever action fans on this board would enjoy hearing about this special, limited edition rifle and I thought I would share it with you.
