Looking for a new bow
« on: May 21, 2010, 08:56:31 AM »
I am looking for a new bow and like the hoyt turbohawk.  Anyone have any reviews to give on this bow.  Looking for a bow in the 500 dollar range if you have a suggestion for different bow.  I have shot the turbohawk and really like the way it feels.  Has anyone had any problems with it?  Thanks.

The Hoyt Turbohawk was my first new bow after being out of bowhunting for 20 yrs. I bought it in Aug of 09 and still love it. It's every bit as good as the AlphaMax, light and vibration free, after testing all sorts of bows it's what I went with and I've tried a number of different bows since and still like the Turbohawk the best.

Hoyt, Bow Tech, Mathews, most all of you high end bows any more are pretty good bows. With that being said, grab the one that feels best for you and don't look back. Happy hunting, and make sure we see pics of the monster buck your gonna get this next season.

You might need to check mission archery. They're made by mathews. I have 2 (eliminator and a UX2). I also have a mathews hyperlite (mathews). The eliminator is my 3-D bow. It's a '09 model. Plan on getting a monster in a couple of months.

I bought a new Hoyt Turbohawk, installed a new trophy taker drop away rest and fuse sight and am shooting a loop. I really like it no problems so far. Other bow is Hoyt flashpoint supreme bought it new in 1995 nothing wrong with it just wanted a new one. If you feel comfortable shooting the Turbohawk I don't think you will be sorry. Just my 2 cents. Good luck.
