This could really be a rant,but I'll keep it short.Lost my private land this year.Again.Three times in ten years.Went out to the Kingman public ground today.What a waste of time and gas.Hunting private will spoil you for sure.The State doesn't have the funds to plant the food plots any more.The deer are still there,but the hunting pressure has cut the numbers down from what i remember out there.Grass is all chest high and you can't see very far.Did see two whitetail does and one mule deer doe.Went to lunch in Kingman and did see a beautiful ten point in the back of a pickup.Next year I'll have a lease.I know I've said never,but it's the way things are going.Weather was great and it was a great day to be out.Hope others had a better opening day.
