Mueller APV 4.5-14x40AO

I like to ask guys who have this scope how is the clarity on 14 power sharp or does it loose a little?
I wonder if it will hold up on the handi 243 cal. I was thinking in maybe playing with it on longer  paper punching targets.
I still can use the 4.5  for deer hunting

It will work fine on non-magnum centerfire rifles.

tim: do you find this a issue on the apv scopes?
Subjectively, the view through the Mueller APV was rated good by the entire Guns and Shooting Online staff. Optically, the Mueller is the best that we have encountered at its price point. The Mueller APV is not perfect, no scope that sells for under $130 could be. It is fairly critical in regards to eye position. If you get your very far off axis the scope "winks" at you.

It's a nice scope for the money. I have one on my 10/22. I'm sure it would hold up to a .243 without issue.

Will it hold up on a Mini-14?  I have one but am afraid to put it on my Mini because even though "only" .223, Minis can be tough on scopes.

I spoke with customer service the other day and ask him about recoil from the 243 cal. he said no problem just not to use in on Mag: cal.
