Ruger 22/45?
« on: August 13, 2010, 07:35:20 AM »
I have owned a Ruger Mk. 2 and Mk. 3 and liked them, thinking of something a little different.  I have a Browning Buckmark already, how are the polymer framed 22/45's in accuracy and quality.  Are they easy to service, and shoot decently?  I know they are cheaper than the usual Ruger steel framed models.  I have heard the Beretta Neos and the Smith and Wesson 22A's are not all that great.

Thanks.

The 22/45 use the exact same uppers as your MKII and III so accuracy should be on a par.   The grip angle and controls are modeled after the 1911 so if a 1911 fits your hand and points well for you you should be happy with the 22/45.
